HPNLU joined the CLAT Consortium from the academic session of 2019-2020 and now accepts the CLAT exam for admission to its UG Law courses. The CLAT 2023 application started on August 8, 2022, and the last date to apply was November 18, 2022. The last date to submit the fee and edit the CLAT form is also November 18, 2022. The exam is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2023, and the counselling is expected to start in January 2023. The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct the exam in an offline mode.
Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla was established in 2016 under the Himachal Pradesh National Law University Act 2016 by the State Government. It is situated in Ghandal, Himachal Pradesh. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI).
