Sikkim Manipal University admission 2023: NEET PG 2023 correction window is open at nbe.edu.in. Candidates who have successfully submitted the NEET PG 2023 application form will be able to edit the form till February 3, 2023.
The Sikkim Manipal University courses are run by the university are approved by regulatory bodies like the Medical Council of India (MCI), Nursing Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapy, All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), and Distance Education Council. Sikkim Manipal University admissions are based on the overall merit and performance of the students in the entrance exams.
The Sikkim Manipal University (SMU), formerly known as the Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical, and Technological Sciences, was founded on November 15, 1992, as a result of an agreement between the Government of Sikkim and the Manipal Pai Foundation to provide exemplary education and health care services in Sikkim and across the country. It is the country's first-ever Public-Private Partnership in higher education and health care. There are two campuses at the university. The Medical and Technology campuses. The government of Sikkim provides a grant of Rs 2.25 crore per annum for the hospital, against which CRH offers free treatment to BPL families and concessional treatment to other state residents. The Sikkim Manipal University was established in 1995 vide the Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences Act (Act No. 9 of 1995). The University Grants Commission recognizes SMU under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956, vide letter No. F.9-7/96(CPP-I) dated December 9, 1998, and approved by the Government of India.
